Wellington Internet Exchange (WIX)

The Wellington Internet Exchange (WIX) is an Ethernet-based neutral peering point running on switches provided by CityLink in Wellington, New Zealand.

By peering at the exchange you agree to provide routing information about your networks to other exchange participants to optimise traffic flows across the WIX. For more details of this agreement see the ExchangeNET Terms and Conditions.

In order to participate at the WIX, you need to be attached to the exchange fabric, have a router capable of running BGP, and blocks of IPv4 and/or IPv6 numbers that are yours to route (at least a /24 of IPv4 and a /48 of IPv6).

To arrange a connection, complete the ExchangeNET application form.
